Seven Cycles Diamas Road Bike – 54cm
Seven is tight-lipped about its A6 Carbon construction process used to manufacture its Diamas road line in Watertown, Massachusetts. It claims the process better serves its goal of producing custom bikes, without the compromises it says lugs would afford. We know that Seven molds Diamas tubes separately and from what we can pry out of company representatives, they use a form of intricate CNC mitering and joining, which it calls CTP joint technology. The best example of this is the Diamas head tube, which passes through holes in the top and down tube, thus avoiding conventional lugs or tube-to-tube wrapping that many other manufacturers employ. The Diamas SL is Seven’s most popular full carbon model. Its salient feature is its custom fit and ride. Like all Sevens, the Diamas is built using detailed input from the customer, so it fits and rides exactly how you want. Seven Diamas models are also BB30 compatible.
